My Story

EARLY YEARS
When I was little, I nursed my dog back to health from a fatal disease that the Vet guaranteed would kill him. Thus began my skepticism for “medical authority,” and sparked my faith in the power of healing. At 18, I began studying self-help books as a way out of emotional pain. I also started going to “new-age” retreats, and became a spiritual seeker–fascinated by the unlimited potential of the human mind.

PROFESSIONAL CRED
My work life began as an Ob/Gyn Physician Assistant in NYC, delivering babies in a busy hospital. Several years later, I received the opportunity to create my own practice in Holistic Gynecology within a prestigious integrative medical center. Over time, I became an herbalist, flower essence practitioner, Maya Abdominal Massage therapist and women’s empowerment coach.

STRIKING OUT
Frustrated by the medical model that disempowered women and failed to take the whole person into consideration, I started a small, healing practice on the side–using nutrition, herbs, flower essences and bodywork, accompanied by intuitive listening; to heal women’s health conditions holistically.

EVOLUTION
Over the years, I came to understand myself as a sensitive empath, and realized that those who sought my help were mostly the same. That’s when my unique healing method: Profound Healing for Vibrant Health™ was born–healing chronic health conditions with natural remedies and by releasing the underlying emotional and energetic roots of dis-ease. I also moved to an online forum, which allowed me to work with women all over the world.

BODY KNOWLEDGE
There’s another dimension of my work that’s more important than all my experience with patients and clients, which is that I’ve been on a life-long healing journey myself. I’ve also manifested emotional and spiritual burdens in my body, and have healed naturally from many, many ailments, including: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Bulimia and emotional eating patterns, Depression, Narcissistic Abuse, Digestive disorders, Chronic Sinusitis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and even Breast Cancer. Having walked this path of healing is what gives me the unshakable conviction in your ability to heal from anything, given the proper diagnosis, remedies and support.

PASSIONS
I love lecturing about Holistic Women’s Health, and have been featured on radio, television, webinars and podcasts. I’m also a passionate blogger, poet, memoirist, singer, improvisational actor, avid adventurer and practitioner of feminine magic. I live in Amherst, MA with my teenage son and pet schnoodle.
